Ever since I was asked at the Private school to make a quiz, I then had this satisfaction of creating quizzes that consists of sets. So on the 8th day of May, the first class of Grade 12 had their first quiz for the fourth quarters.
What I didn’t expect tho was the reactions, “Ma’am bakit magkakaiba?”
That line to me is an indirect way of telling me how on the first numbers of the quiz, they already attempted to cheat off of their seatmate. Normally for me, the first thing I would say in a quiz is that “Inaral ko ba to?”. I therefore conclude that quizzes in are not just set A, B or C but the sets should be a new set of questions.
So after that, I also of course went to the Grade 11 section to teach the topic for the day and let me tell you, I am beginning to loose patience on this class and I can’t help but just keep it in as usual because well, I’m still practicing how to be mad in a class. I don’t know if they understood the topic but I don’t know what else to do to grab their attention.
In short, after the quiz, I was tested by my own students. I know I must think of an alternative or intervention but as of now, I can’t think of any
