Having idols of any kind is alright but Christ should be the one and only one that we look up to.
Morning of March 08, 2023, the Junior High School had a mass at the cathedral and Student Teachers were asked to assist on the students before entering the cathedral, during the mass and exiting the vicinity. Because my CT had no advisory class, I thought I won’t be needed in the assistance and all but when I went and checked on the Grade 7 students, they are not organized as they went to any shade possible. I still managed to make some of them fall in line tho. I also went with one section to organize them inside the church. I don’t know if I’m doing it right but it seems like I am because the students settled down and the other section behind me also managed to calm down and not make any noise. I think the fact that they’re in the cathedral plays a huge part in their behaviors.
The mass began smoothly and peacefully and I therefore conclude that in the cathedral, the students are well behaved compared when they had their mass in the Tonus Gymnasium. After the mass, they all dispersed as they were given a longer break and as for me, I went back to our quarters as I am too broke to buy myself lunch. In addition to my day, my CT asked me that evening to make a quiz for Homeroom Guidance for the two sections of Grade 7 to which I gladly accept. Because I know the content and all, it is a little easy for me to construct a quiz with my basis being our past activities.
In the end, the day went pretty well for me and also, I learned something new from the students in the Junior and Science High School.
