How come I never experienced these during my P.E back in Junior High School?
There are dances performed by the grade 8 and 9 students on the afternoon of March 01, 2023. The program begins with a prayer then a short introduction about the festival before they introduced the competitors which ate the grade 8 and 9 students. Then the introduction of judges followed along with the criteria for judging. The first two sections of grade 8 came in first with their tiklos dance followed by the two academic sections that garnered a lot of cheers from the audience that consisted of the parents, teachers, grade 7 and 10 students and student teachers. After the tiklos, the grade nine followed with their social dances that consists of the rumba, samba, cha cha, and jazz and to be honest, I have a favorite from the performances. After the dances, I am amazed not only at how they students are very good at their dances but also from how they prepared for this festival. When I was in high school, I have no recollection of dancing any of the dances apart from tinikling in my elementary days.
I had so much fun seeing the different dances they presented but I think, the students themselves are the most proud of themselves. Overall, the experience to be able to witness these talents are very priceless. Not only am I watching it for free but also from the front row seats.
