I’m not sure about this but ever since I became a student, I don’t know why I don’t like quizzes. Am I the only one? I don’t know but the truth is that, I don’t wanna deal with a quiz full of “What is? or “Who is?”. I enjoy a more subjective type like “Why do you think?”. In other words, I don’t really hate it but I want to not do it as much as possible.
February 23, 2023 is the day one of the sections had their quiz and my fellow student teachers is not in the campus because one of them is still back at their house and the other one went to work on their research paper. Our CT asked for help in facilitating the quiz as he will need to distribute some forms and so I went to help him watch over the students. As a student, I always thought that having a quiz is not a pleasant experience but as an acting teacher, I found it fun. Roaming around looking for someone doing unpleasant things, or just to observe them. What I enjoyed the most is when the students ask questions from me. I don’t know but there is a sense of achievement when I answered them. As time passed, there are like more students calling for my attention and I am glad that they have the guts to do so unlike me when I’m studying. I’m so happy that I managed to also give them the answer they’re looking for.
At the end of the day, I feel great to be able to experience facilitating a quiz. It is more exciting but also nerve wrecking because if I mess up my answer to their queries, I will take responsibility if they get it wrong. Luckily for me, I managed to deliver a correct answer.
