Progress Check

I started this day with my nerves all over the place because of how nervous I am for this day. We were told to not be late so I wasn’t and I wasn’t planning to. However, despite the fact that I am early, I am still dying on the inside because of having no idea of what will happen.

On February 18, 2023, we had our first colloquium for this semester and let me tell you, it was nerve wrecking. Our supervisor entered and still, many of my classmates are not yet in the room. As time passed, we begin the activity with an opening prayer and after that, we were asked to bring out our clear folders. I can only thank the heavens for reminding me to print out the forms needed for the clear folder. I also managed to fill in some needed information and despite knowing that I did a good job with compiling my forms, I am still nervous when it was my time to present. My hands are cold and sweaty and I don’t have sweaty palms in the first place. Thank God, I was able to sit down without much comment from my supervisor. It was a heavy atmosphere that moment because we failed him and disappointment isn’t even enough to describe his feelings. After a few words from our other supervisor, Sir returned and this time to check our progress on our blogs. I went first for the BSED still nervous because I am missing one entry but I’m still so happy that I had many entries because our supervisor is checking the quantity of our entries. After that, we wrote a detailed lesson plan on the spot and I thank those hours of copying recipes on my TLE subject in Junior High School because now, hand writing a detailed lesson plan is not a hard task for me.

In the end, I ended the day with a relieved self that I am slowly overcoming my procrastinating habit. Overall, I am feeling proud of myself and I want to feel more of this so I will work extra.
