Wednesday, February 15, 2023 is a day I got to say to myself I can go beyond what I think I can do. Underestimating myself in doing something I overestimated is something I always do and in the end, I will end up not doing it before it turns out to be doable. I always think so low on myself without trying.
On this day, my CT had one class and that class is the class I haven’t met once during my time here and I would like to meet them of course however, my co student teacher is not with me due to her working on her thesis and so when our CT asked me to ran some errands for him, I didn’t hesitate to say yes because, well, I want to lend a hand. I was asked to retrieve some certificates from Bayombong Central School. At first, I was hesitant because I have no idea where that is or who the person I need to meet or where to find him but I just went there. It turned out, it wasn’t that scary at all. When I got to the school, I saw a teacher whom I asked directions from and so when I got there, I saw the person I must retrieve the certificates from.
In the end, I managed to successfully complete the task and I have a feeling of pride inside of me. To others, it might be a small thing but to me, it is a huge stepping stone for me to overcome my fear on meeting new people and going to new places on my own.
