ICT Integration in the 21st Century classroom is the topic of the last day of our PREP session and on this day, February 10, 2023, the student teaches were again gathered in the ST lab and were given a lecture by the speaker on the said topic.
The lesson taught us how to maximize the use of ICT in our teaching. As the new era of education began, teachers need to step up their strategy to cater to the needs of the learners using ICT as technology has a big part of their lives. We had short activities where we were given situations that can happen in a classroom and we were to create an intervention integrating ICT. After the lecture, we had a short activity where they organized some games, and a short dance number that was participated by all of us. In the end was the awarding ceremony where certificates of recognition was given to the class for completing the five sessions of the PREP and just in that moment, I felt like I did something progressive and I wanted more. I wanted to be feel more of that rush that I finished something. The knowledge I have acquired will definitely be used in the future and I cannot wait to apply it to my own teaching.
